This week, James Griffis, president and owner of WTI Capital, LLC., signed a major deal with Golden Chick – a family-oriented, quick-service chicken restaurant chain with more than 180 locations. Griffis will now own the rights to 55 Golden Chick locations in the Houston DMA.
Currently he owns and operates 2 Golden Chick locations in West Texas and has a development agreement for 33 more in that area. WTI-GC, LP is an affiliate company that owns and operates its Golden Chick restaurants.
“James has been a great addition to our franchisee family who runs two highly successful Golden Chick restaurants in West Texas and we could not be more proud to announce that he will now be a major part of our expansion in the Houston market,” says Jim Stevens, president of Golden Chick. “Along with his COO Scott Stevenson, James is scaling and will now own the rights to an additional 55 Golden Chick locations helping us get closer to our goal of 500 restaurants by 2030.”
