Arizona-based, Grabbagreen continues to expand it's green footprint. The fast casual food and juice restaurant known for specializing in organic food items, antibiotic, and hormone-free beef, poultry, fresh-pressed juice, and whole-food smoothies has announced a new development deal with Verdure LLC that will add 25 locations across the state of Colorado.

The newest Grabbagreen development deal is with franchise partners Mike, Jerry, and Tim Fitzgerald of Verdure, who will themselves become the first Colorado franchisees in the Denver Tech Center. Mike and Jerry have more than 20 years experience as multiunit franchisee owners and area developers for another major international brand. The new development agreement comes on the heels of a 95-multiunit-development deal in Southern California, a 34-multiunit agreement in North and South Carolina, a three-store agreement in Dallas, and three additional stores in Arizona. With three company-owned Grabbagreen locations in Arizona, the new agreements bring the total to 11 franchise deals signed and an additional 154 units under development agreements since the program launched at the end of April 2015.

"We are very excited to enter the Colorado market and introduce the state to really healthy food, fast that tastes great," says Grabbagreen CEO and cofounder, Keely Newman. "This kind of fast-casual restaurant with no preservatives or sodas, only whole foods, and largely organic does not currently exist in the state and we feel confident Coloradans will be excited to finally have that option. Mike, Jerry, and Tim make up a talented team, and we are very pleased to welcome them to the Grabbagreen family," Newman says.

Customers simply cannot make an unhealthy choice at Grabbagreen. The whole food menu is preservative free, naturally gluten free, GMO free, and semi-organic. Grabbagreen offers a full selection of grain and green-based bowls with fresh, hormone-free, and antibiotic-free proteins provided by local farms, fresh-pressed juice, handcrafted smoothies and acai bowls, breakfast, and healthy kid-friendly items. All signature menu items are prepared fresh, made-to-order and provide a delicious experience for customers and a variety of flavors to meet dietary needs.

"We continue to expand our footprint and are laser focused on working with new franchise owners to realize the brand's growth potential in new markets across the county and are thrilled to add Colorado to that list," says Kim Cramton, vice president of operations and franchise development. "Grabbagreen is a way of life and each and every member of our development team and franchise partners is very passionate about living the healthy lifestyle that Grabbagreen promotes."
