Grabbagreen, an Arizona-based fast-casual restaurant concept known for their fresh and healthy alternative to fast food, is making waves across the U.S., leading the charge in making fast food healthy. Veteran franchisees, Paul and Julie Trindel are opening their first Grabbagreen in Greensboro Thursday. North Carolina will be the first state outside of Arizona to have more than one Grabbagreen location. The Greensboro restaurant is located at 431 Pisgah Church Road in the mixed-use lifestyle neighborhood of North Elm Village. The hours will be Monday-Saturday from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Sunday from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. with the full breakfast lunch and dinner menu available all day long. This is the second Grabbagreen for Trindel Investments who signed a 34-store development agreement last July.

"We love our Greensboro community and the enthusiasm around providing healthy food options that taste great," says Julie Trindel. "As a family on the go, we know firsthand how difficult it can be to eat healthy on a regular basis amid such a busy schedule. ‘Healthy’ and ‘fast’ aren't two adjectives that you often see describing fast food however that is exactly what we are doing here at Grabbagreen. We are honored to be leading the charge in making fast food healthy."

The Grabbagreen concept is right in tune with the growing demand for healthy, fresh-made foods. Grabbagreen is the first fast-food concept of its kind in the country serving organic food items, antibiotic and hormone-free beef and poultry, whole fruits and vegetables, fresh juice and smoothies. The modern decor and energetic ambiance appeals to everyone from children to adults.

Each menu item at Grabbagreen is prepared fresh, made-to-order and provides a delicious experience for customers with a variety of flavors to meet dietary needs. Grabbagreen offers a full selection of grain and green-based bowls with fresh hormone-free and antibiotic-free proteins provided by local farms. Fresh-pressed juice, handcrafted smoothies, acai bowls, breakfast and healthy, kid-friendly items round out the healthy choices.

Grabbagreen now has seven restaurants operating in Arizona, Texas, Tennessee, and North Carolina. The franchise has executed 60 franchise agreements and 174 development agreements since April 2015 with plans to open 13 additional locations across the U.S. this year in Florida, Texas, California, North Carolina, Minnesota, Colorado, Idaho, New Jersey, Tennessee, and Arizona.
