Great American Cookies announced that the company will celebrate October as National Cookie Month by offering a free regular Original Chocolate Chip cookie to customers across the country. The promotion is supported by NexCen Franchise Management Inc., a subsidiary of NexCen Brands Inc.

During the month of October, anyone who signs up for Great American Cookies’ e-mail fan club, “CookiE-mail,” will automatically receive an e-mail coupon good for one free regular Original Chocolate Chip cookie. The company is also saying “thanks” to fans that already belong to CookiE-mail by sending them a coupon good for one free regular Original Chocolate Chip cookie on October 1.

In addition to a free cookie for signing up during October, members of the club also receive member-exclusive e-mail offers throughout the year.
