With more than 80 locations nationwide, Great Wraps announced a franchise development agreement that will catapult the brand’s presence further into Texas, with the signing of a multi-city deal to develop restaurants in the Dallas-Fort Worth market, as well as enter the state of Oklahoma for the first time. Experienced multiunit franchisee Premila Vishwanath and her business partners at J2K LLC, who currently operate a franchise portfolio that consists of 44 Jack in the Box and four Pizza Hut locations, secured the rights to develop Great Wraps restaurants in Dallas-Fort Worth, as well as Oklahoma City. The entrepreneurial team chose to partner with Great Wraps based on the brand’s healthy and fresh menu offerings, its relationships with malls and shopping centers across the country, and its supportive corporate team.
"We understand from working in the corporate side of the franchise business for 15 years that having a strong franchisor and a dedicated corporate support team is what can separate one brand from other franchises in the industry. Great Wraps not only provides delicious menu offerings that are unparalleled in fast-casual dining, but they also have proven expertise and success in shopping malls, a retail environment we’ve been interested in for years,” says Premila Vishwanath, operating franchise partner of Great Wraps. “When we first visited Great Wraps, we were excited about the concept’s customizable experience and fresh menu options, all cooked on the grill in front of the customer. With Great Wraps already experiencing impressive success in Texas, we believe this brand will soon become a household name in Dallas, as well as Oklahoma City.”
Vishwanath’s recent franchise agreement provides her the ability to develop Great Wraps in both Dallas-Fort Worth and Oklahoma City, with the option to expand to additional markets. With corporate, franchise development, and operations expertise with brands such as Yum! Brands, Domino’s Pizza, Jack in the Box, and Pizza Hut, the franchise group is well-versed in operating restaurants in Texas and Oklahoma. Great Wraps commitment to the grill and expanded menu options, which marry street food influences and comfort mainstays, is what makes Great Wraps attractive to both entrepreneurs and consumers.
“Great Wraps is seeing increased franchise interest, in large part because entrepreneurs see that the concept offers what the market is hungry for,” says Mark Kaplan, CEO and chairman of Great Wraps. “Both franchise partners and consumers appreciate our bold flavors, our homemade sauces and fresh ingredients that make up our wraps, cooked hot off the grill for each of our guests. This commitment to develop Great Wraps in Dallas and Oklahoma City is just the start of a very exciting 2015 and beyond. We look forward to announcing additional brand developments in the coming year. ”
