Dog Haus, the gourmet hot dog, sausage, burger and beer concept, has significant expansion plans, taking its 30-plus locations nationwide and doubling that number in 2019 alone. In order to do this successfully, Dog Haus’ three partners have hired a key player to their team, Stacy Soderstrom, who now is the director of franchise development.

As a seasoned professional with more than 16 years of franchise experience, Stacy has worked for large food brands such as KFC, Quiznos, and Boston’s Gourmet Pizza. For Dog Haus, she is implementing new processes for bringing on franchisees, setting a strong backbone for the brand with an emphasis on building development strategy. This new strategy will focus on franchise recruitment, updating Dog Haus’ website to become an efficient tool for finding high-caliber franchisees, and shifting focus in strategic markets where they can open up to 10 units.

“I am thrilled to bring my 17 years of experience to the incredible Dog Haus team that’s working diligently on the brand’s expansion,” Soderstrom says. “The passion and commitment from everyone in both their corporate office and restaurants proves that the founders have created a culture that’s special, not only in the handcrafted food they serve, but in the people they’ve recruited to bring Dog Haus to the next level. In my role, I’ll be contributing to the company’s development strategy, helping to identify and secure potential franchisees. As I learn more about Dog Haus, I realize its enormous potential. Plus, an opportunity to represent a brand that excites the foodie in me doesn’t come along every day.”
