Customers visiting Gyroville for National Gyro Day on September 1 will be able to purchase a Gyro sandwich for $4 (not including sales tax). The healthy, build-your-own fast-casual Mediterranean restaurant has eight locations in Southeast Florida.

Gyroville has been a staple in the Miami-area dining scene since opening its first location in 2010 in Fort Lauderdale. The brand has since opened locations in Plantation, Pembroke Pines, Miami Lakes, Doral, and Kendall, and plans to open additional franchise locations this year in Orlando and Ecuador.

The concept allows customers to follow their choice of protein from the grill or vertical spit through an assembly line process where they choose from fresh ingredients and homemade sauces for their pita sandwich, wrap, rice bowl, or salad. Sustainable and locally sourced fresh ingredients are delivered every day and sauces are made fresh daily. The traditional Tzatziki sauces begin with 100 percent Greek yogurt and customers can choose modern variations such as Spinach Jalapeño, Spicy Feta, and Mediterranean Honey Mustard.
