After seeing a 20 percent increase in daily sales, Gyroville, a popular Southeast Florida Mediterranean fast-casual franchise, is rolling out delivery service through UberEATS via all of its locations.
“Since rolling out delivery service, we’ve had a tremendous response from the local community,” says CEO and founder Lambros Kokkinelis, a classically trained chef. “What’s great is that based off the location of most deliveries, we can tell that we’re reaching new customers that traditionally wouldn’t drive more than 10 or 15 miles for lunch or dinner. It’s a huge convenience for consumers and allows us to broaden our reach. It’s a win-win.”
Gyroville jumped into the fast-casual scene in 2010 and currently has eight locations operating in Florida with stores under development in Orlando, Florida and Topeka, Kansas. Offering a modern spin on traditional Greek recipes, its healthy Mediterranean menu has become a customer hit, earning Gyroville the best falafel of 2016 by New Times Broward-Palm Beach.
Through its build-your-own model, customers tailor their pita, wrap, salad or rice bowl to be as healthy as they wish. The ordering process starts off by customers choosing their protein—gyro, chicken, falafel or spicy chicken—fresh off the grill or vertical spit, and then topping it with homemade tzatziki sauces—original, spinach jalapeno, honey mustard or feta—before finishing it off with a variety of toppings. Small dishes include spinach pie, chickpeas, hummus & pita, grape leaves, tomato salad and couscous, among others. Everything on the menu is made in-house daily using fresh ingredients.
