“Summertime is the perfect excuse for enjoying big, refreshing desserts,” says Gand. “With these new treats, I reinvented classic desserts in surprising new ways, making them the perfect summer indulgence.” Gand chose three of her favorite desserts and recreated them with Häagen-Dazs finesse and craftsmanship. The Zesty Lemon Meringue Pie is described as “ a classic pie re-imagined as a sundae.” It combines Häagen-Dazs’s new Light Vanilla Bean ice cream, lemon sorbet, lemon curd and vanilla wafer crumbles and is finished with whipped cream and a cookie garnish. The Triple Chocolate Black Forest Cake includes Häagen-Dazs Triple Chocolate ice cream, fudge brownie chunks, cherries, and whipped cream. The Tira Mi Su Dazzler features Mocha Chip ice cream, chunks of yellow cake and Italian-style mascarpone, finished with chocolate whipped cream topping and a dusting of cocoa.
Ice cream lovers can enjoy Gale Gand’s signature Dazzler frozen desserts in their local Häagen-Dazs Shop starting Friday, June 10 and continuing all summer long.
