The Hamlet Group, Inc., a subsidiary of
Prandium, Inc. (OTC Bulletin Board: PDIM), announced today the system-wide
roll-out of the new spring edition of its “Hamlet at Night” dinner menu for its
Hamburger Hamlet restaurant chain. The “Hamlet at Night” dinner menu was
originally created to augment the existing menu with entrees that are targeted to
capture an increased share of available dinner sales. Its increasing popularity led
Hamlet’s chefs to create a fresh new line up of entrees. The new “Hamlet at Night”
menu is available after 5 p.m. everyday at all Hamburger Hamlet locations.
The new “Hamlet at Night” menu includes a number of new entrees featuring chicken
prepared in a variety of ways. Grilled Chicken Pesto Linguini, prepared in a creamy
white pesto sauce, is accented with sauteed yellow squash, sun-dried tomatoes and
mushrooms and served with garlic herb toast. The new Thai Chicken plate features
grilled chicken basted with a spicy peanut sauce over white rice and garnished with
fresh cucumber salad and crispy Asian noodles. For those guests desiring a taste of
south of the border, Hamlet has created a Sizzlin’ Fajita Combo Platter. A combination
of steak, chicken and shrimp are basted with chipotle seasoning and served with mixed
Santa Fe grilled vegetables and warm flour tortillas, fresh guacamole and pico de gallo
salsa. The fourth new entree is a lightly blackened Mahi Mahi fish sauteed with a tasty
apple pecan sauce and served with steamed white rice pilaf and julienned vegetables.
As an appetizer, Hamburger Hamlet unveils its new Asian Pacific Lettuce Wraps with
lightly battered tempura chicken and three different dipping sauces.
“Our dinner business continues to grow and we are excited to introduce these tasty
new contemporary items for our guests,” commented Jennifer Maloney, vice president
of marketing for Hamburger Hamlet. “Any one of these new items, plus our new
Caramel Banana Sundae Dessert, is destined to make for a memorable dining
experience.”
Renowned for its gourmet burgers and signature soups including Lobster Bisque and
Onion Soup Fondue, Hamburger Hamlet is a full service casual dining restaurant that
delivers a tasty alternative for consumers. Other menu selections include a variety of
appetizers, soups and chili, sandwiches, salads, chicken, seafood, pasta dishes, and
desserts.
In 1950, Marilyn and Harry Lewis opened the first Hamburger Hamlet on Sunset Blvd.
in Hollywood, California. The restaurant was a dream come true for both of them. The venture combined his love for
Shakespeare (hence the name, Hamlet) and her love of entertaining. The first menu included gourmet hamburgers,
signature soups, and decadent desserts, many of which are still on the menu today. Hamburger Hamlet currently
serves over 3 million guests annually in 14 locations.
