Hardee’s Food Systems, Inc. announced July 14 the promotion of Noah Griggs, a 19-year veteran of Hardee’s, to executive vice president of operations for the restaurant company. In this position, Griggs is responsible for all restaurant level field operations and reports directly to the president of Hardee’s.

“I have the utmost confidence in Noah’s ability to lead our company’s operations efforts as we sharpen our focus on guest service, food quality and cleanliness in all of our restaurants,” said Andrew F. Puzder, Hardee’s president and chief executive officer. “Having worked on the franchise side of our business, Noah also appreciates the importance of our franchise partners and will continue to encourage their contributions to the Hardee’s brand.”

Most recently, Griggs served as a senior vice president of operations, with responsibility for 340 Hardee’s restaurants in the Midwest. He began his foodservice career as an hourly employee at a franchised Hardee’s restaurant in the early 1980s, and worked his way up through the ranks. He served as both a regional director of operations for Denny’s and a vice president of operations for Flagstar/Hardee’s, before joining the Hardee’s corporate team in 1996.

Currently, Griggs lives in Indianapolis, Ind. with his wife, Pam, and two children. He plans to relocate to St. Louis, Mo., and share time between offices in St. Louis and Rocky Mount, NC.
