St. Louis, Missouri—June, 18, 2002—Hardee’s Food Systems, Inc. this month introduces its newest product offering, the Philly Roast Beef Sandwich. The sandwich is the chain’s latest offering to target casual dining customers following the success of The Six Dollar Burger(TM). The sandwich is available at participating Hardee’s restaurants for a limited time.

The Philly Roast Beef Sandwich consists of sliced roast beef topped with green peppers and onions in a garlic butter sauce with two slices of Swiss cheese, served on a freshly baked roll. The suggested price for the sandwich is $2.99, or $4.39 as a combo meal with fries and a drink.

“Hardee’s Philly Roast Beef Sandwich is truly a ‘best in class’ product in the quick-service restaurant industry,” said Brad Haley, executive vice president of marketing for Hardee’s. “Both industry trends and our own research have told us that people want lunch options that are more substantial and satisfying in terms of quality, but are still quick and convenient. The Philly Roast Beef Sandwich is definitely both.”
