The Hatch Chile Charburger has grilled Hatch green chiles, melted cheese, fire-roasted chipotle salsa, tomatoes, lettuce, and mayo.

The Habit Restaurant, Inc. is holding its own Hatch Chile Festival with the debut of special menu items dedicated to this flavorful Southwestern pepper. Hatch Chiles are grown in New Mexico and were created by combining three chiles to create the perfect blend of heat and flavor.

The Habit chargrills each chile over an open flame to bring out the smoky flavor and deepen the taste in the new, limited time Hatch Chile menu items, which include:

Hatch Chile Charburger ($4.95) featuring southwest flavor with grilled Hatch green chiles, melted cheese, fire-roasted chipotle salsa, tomatoes, lettuce, and mayo on a toasted sesame seed bun.

Hatch Chile Chicken Sandwich ($6.95) with lime-marinated, chargrilled chicken breast with grilled Hatch green chiles, melted cheese, fire-roasted chipotle salsa, tomatoes, lettuce, and mayo on grilled sourdough bread.

Hatch Chile Chicken Salad ($7.25) with lime-marinated, chargrilled chicken breast on top of hand-cut greens with feta cheese, diced tomatoes, carrots, black beans, chargrilled sliced Hatch chiles, and fresh cilantro, tossed in a house-made cilantro lime ranch dressing.

These items will be available in all participating restaurants for a limited time during the Hatch Chile Season.
