Hatco is pleased to announce groundbreaking for a substantial addition to its Sturgeon Bay Wisconsin facility. The expansion will provide additional manufacturing, office, and training/test kitchen space. Hatco moved their manufacturing facility to Sturgeon Bay from Milwaukee in 1973. This expansion marks the ninth major expansion since that time and positions the company for continued growth into the future.

The construction project will be handled by Bayland Construction, Green Bay, Wisconsin. Bayland has become a trusted Hatco partner after handling two of the most recent construction projects. Hatco is a 100 percent employee owned company that designs, manufactures, and sells commercial foodservice equipment throughout the world, most of which is manufactured at the Sturgeon Bay facility. The product line consists primarily of heated and refrigerated holding and merchandising equipment, toasters, and water heaters for commercial dishwashing. Hatco began manufacturing in Milwaukee in 1950 and has grown steadily through product line expansion.
