Honey Dew Donuts announced the addition of a new menu item: the Cranberry Walnut Chicken Salad. Made to order, this sandwich features the home-style flavor like the original, but is also made with cranberries and walnuts and is served on a buttery croissant. The sandwich will be available at all Honey Dew Donuts locations starting October 15, at an introductory price of $3.29.

Since Honey Dew Donuts launched its first official lunch sandwich in April of this year, Original Willow Tree Chicken Salad, customers have come in for both breakfast and lunch. “The success of the original sandwich has exceeded our expectations, and we are thrilled to add Cranberry Walnut Chicken Salad to our expanding sandwich line,” says Richard Bowen, president and CEO of Honey Dew Associates Inc.

Advertising will feature the sandwich on a plain croissant; however, other bread varieties include a multi-grain croissant, ciabatta bread, white or wheat wraps, or bagels. When the promotional period ends on November 3, the price may vary at different locations. The Original Chicken Salad will remain on the menu at all Honey Dew Donuts locations.
