Just as The Honey Baked Ham Company has cherished its place at customers’ Easter meals for almost 60 years, the company values its longstanding tradition of giving back to the communities it serves.

Thanks to HoneyBaked’s partnership with Feeding America, the nation’s largest domestic hunger-relief organization, participating locations make it easy for customers to share the gift of food beyond their Easter celebrations. For every dollar donated at the register, Feeding America can provide 11 meals to people suffering from food insecurity.

“One of HoneyBaked’s core values is to make a difference,” says Maggie DeCan, @mdecan, HoneyBaked president and chief operating officer. “Whether we’re part of our customers’ Easter menus or helping Feeding America provide meals for people in need, we’re proud to work with our associates and customers to make a difference in our communities and support a cause very near and dear to our hearts.”

With 48 million Americans living in food-insecure households according to the USDA, HoneyBaked is dedicated to fighting hunger. Since 2013, The Honey Baked Ham Company has donated more than two million meals nationwide through Feeding America and local member food banks.

“We’re thrilled to have the ongoing support of HoneyBaked stores and customers,” says Nancy Curby, vice president of corporate partnerships at Feeding America. “We receive an outpouring of generosity around the holidays, but the need for food exists each and every day. Because of partners like HoneyBaked, we can truly make a difference for Americans struggling with hunger.”
