In preparation of expanding the brand, The Hot Dog Shoppe has hired two key operational leadership executives. Zach Weiser, previously with TGI Fridays and Applebee’s in above-unit leadership roles, has been hired to lead field operations.
Greg Kenyon, previously with O’Charley’s in a field operations role, will be filling the newly created role of Corporate Chef.
Both roles are newly created to incorporate responsibilities formerly held by family members as well as position the company for growth.

As Hot Dog Shoppe’s continue the transition and integration of the company from the various family members, a need was identified for a culinary leader. “As the founding family members begin to transition away from the company,” Vojnovic says “Greg brings leadership and much needed culinary skills to ensure a seamless continuation of the brand.”

The Hot Dog Shoppe was founded in 1946 in Warren, OH and features a menu of hot dogs and chili dogs sold at crowd pleasing prices and fresh cut French fries and hamburgers. Hot Dog Shoppe operates three locations in Warren, Girard and E. Liverpool, OH and was purchased by Vojnovic earlier this year after 75 years of family ownership.
