    HuHot Strategizes in Small Business

  • Industry News July 14, 2011

HuHot Mongolian Grill continues to lay foundations for success in the franchise world. With new restaurant openings on the horizon, easing the loan process and partnering with SpenDifference, HuHot is helping to provide franchisees with better business opportunities.

Recently, the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) listed HuHot Mongolian Grills, LLC on its official Franchise Registry. The Franchise Registry is a compilation of franchise systems that have had their franchise agreement reviewed by the SBA, thereby shortening the loan process for franchise investors and ensuring a consistent eligibility decision.

HuHot Mongolian Grill has also entered into a partnership with SpenDifference, a group purchasing organization (GPO). SpenDifference enables smaller businesses to operate similar to larger corporation, allowing for staff extension, cost reduction, and accessibility to better resources. Their purchasing level and expertise will help build vendor and distribution programs nationwide for HuHot.

Franchisees will be able to reap the benefits of the SpenDifference partnership at all stages of their business ownership. Proprietary and market basket items will be contracted to maximize savings for all existing franchise ownership groups, while also giving new franchisees the benefits of national buying power at the beginning of their business opening.

“We’re determined to not only make it easier to open a HuHot restaurant, but we’re also continuously looking for ways to save our franchisees money,” SpenDifference CEO Andy Vap says. This dynamic partnership is designed to offer immediate cost reductions and to identify other ways to optimize supply chain and costs moving forward.

With HuHot on the SBA’s official Franchise Registry and the collaboration with SpenDifference, HuHot will become an even more desirable, and more easily accessible, franchise opportunity.
