Hungry Howie’s Pizza, the originator of the flavored crust pizza, announced the addition of a new gluten-free pizza crust to its menu. Hungry Howie’s Pizza’s gluten-free crust is the perfect option for guests who choose to consume gluten-free food items due to diet or mild sensitivity, but still want to enjoy the flavors Hungry Howie’s Pizza has to offer.

Hungry Howie’s Pizza now gives guests the option to choose from its original wheat-based crusts or its new gluten-free crust that is made with rice flour, rice starch, potato starch, water, and olive oil, and contains less than 20 parts per million of gluten. Because Hungry Howie’s Pizza prides itself on making pizza dough in-store daily, the new gluten-free crust is not suitable for those with celiac disease, as trace amounts of gluten can be found in kitchen areas where the crust is made. However, those who prefer gluten-free food items because of dietary choice or mild gluten sensitivity can enjoy the brand’s new crust. The gluten-free crust is available in a six-slice small pizza, and can be made with any of Hungry Howie’s Pizza’s delicious flavors, including; Butter, Asiago Cheese, Cajun, Butter Cheese, Sesame, Garlic Herb, Ranch, and Onion.

“A number of customers have asked for a gluten-free option; and we are proud to introduce our gluten-free pizza crust,” says Rob Elliott, vice president of strategic marketing at Hungry Howie’s Pizza. “We are always looking for new ways to please our guests with innovative flavors and offerings, and we know guests will love our delicious gluten-free crust.”

The new gluten-free crust is available at all Hungry Howie’s Pizza locations. Hungry Howie’s Gluten-Free Crust is not for guests with Celiac disease.
