Hungry Howie’s Pizza, is opening its first Arkansas location in Little Rock. Opening its doors on June 12, the new location will donate a percentage of sales to the Easter Seals of Arkansas and Fulbright Elementary School on June 12 and 13, respectively.
The Little Rock location marks the first of five Hungry Howie’s restaurants for franchisee Zac Deem, who signed a multi-unit agreement to develop the concept throughout “The Natural State” in 2018. Deem developed a passion for the pizza industry in 2006, while attending college at the University of Central Arkansas — where he worked as an Assistant Manager for a local pizzeria.
Currently, Deem has plans to open two additional locations within Little Rock city limits, as well as one in North Little Rock and an additional restaurant in Conway.
“It is an honor to introduce the Little Rock community to Hungry Howie’s and its delicious Flavored Crust Pizza,” says franchisee Zac Deem. “I first tried the product in 2012 when I was visiting a friend in Florida, and as someone who has a passion for pizza, being exposed to this new brand that didn’t exist in Arkansas was exciting. Needless to say I was hooked and knew I’d find a way to bring Hungry Howie’s to the Little Rock community.”
“Arkansas has been on Hungry Howie’s road map for quite some time, and are pleased to welcome Zac into the Hungry Howie’s family. His passion for our brand and the pizza industry as a whole make him the ideal partner,” says Jennifer Jackson, VP of Development at Hungry Howie’s. “We look forward to seeing his success and growing our fan base throughout this wonderful state.”
Hungry Howie’s is located at 10300 North Rodney Parham Road Little Rock, AR 72227, near I-430.
Founded in 1973, Hungry Howie’s Pizza has grown to over 550 locations in 21 states across the U.S.
