I Heart Mac & Cheese, a fast-casual concept specializing in made-to-order, fully customizable Build Your Own Macaroni & Cheese Bowls and Grilled Cheese sandwiches, announced its latest franchisee agreement for a new  estaurant planned for the Cypress, Texas area.

Under the leadership of franchisees Dr. Anthony McBride and his wife, Victoria, this location plans to open their doors in the Spring of 2021, and is another indicator of the brand’s plan to expand throughout Texas. With locations already open in Port Arthur and College Station, and several other franchise locations already contracted and in full development, I Heart Mac & Cheese is making a name for itself in the Lone Star State.

After exploring a number of franchisee opportunities, McBride ultimately chose I Heart Mac & Cheese, as it presented the greatest potential for success. “The simplicity of the operations, the tasty food, along with the healthy options piqued my interest. I knew this was something worth investing in. I had been contemplating other franchises for over a year, but this one was my final choice,” stated McBride.

McBride brings with him a deep catalogue of work experience with many Fortune 100 companies around the world and a background in Manufacturing-Operations Management and Global Safety Operations. While this is the duo’s first franchise, they are excited to translate their rich business expertise experience into the dynamic restaurant world.

The couple have been married for 18 years and have four children. They are thrilled to open their I Heart Mac & Cheese doors in the greater Cypress area, and are looking to expanding their franchise in the future.

The I Heart Mac & Cheese brand has big plans outside of Texas as well, and is quickly developing a national footprint with additional locations planned in Alabama, Arizona, California, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, New Jersey, North Carolina, New Mexico, and New York.

A unique franchise concept in the restaurant industry with no fryers, grease trap systems or hood systems, I Heart Mac & Cheese requires a low investment and can be opened in a small space, such as a mall kiosk or food court.
