Baskin-Robbins, one of the world’s largest chains of ice cream specialty shops, is offering ice cream lovers a treat to celebrate the Thanksgiving holiday this year with the return of its popular ice cream Turkey Cake and the introduction of new Mini Turkey ice cream treats. To help spread the holiday spirit, Baskin-Robbins is also offering guests its new November Flavor of the Month, Gingerbread Junction, in addition to an alternative to the classic pecan pie holiday dessert, ice cream Turtle Pie.
Available now at participating Baskin-Robbins locations nationwide, Baskin-Robbins' Turkey Cake is “glazed” with Caramel Praline Topping and is decorated with sugar cone legs, and can be customized with a guest’s favorite ice cream flavor. The cake serves 12 to 16 people and has a suggested retail price of $32.99. Guests looking for a smaller feast can also gobble up Baskin-Robbins’ new Mini Turkey ice cream treats, made with any Baskin-Robbins ice cream flavor and offered in a family-friendly 4-pack for a suggested retail price of $12.99, or individually for a suggested retail price of $3.29.
Baskin-Robbins’ Turtle Pie features a chocolate pie crust filled with Pralines 'n Cream ice cream, adorned with a Caramel Praline Topping and pecans. Additionally, throughout November, guests can enjoy the taste of homemade holiday cookies and milk with Baskin-Robbins' Flavor of the Month, Gingerbread Junction. This nostalgic concoction combines gingerbread and vanilla ice cream with a cinnamon caramel ribbon to create the taste of a freshly-baked gingerbread cookie dunked in a glass of milk.
“We’re so excited to bring back our famous ice cream Turkey Cake this November, as it makes for such a delicious and eye-catching dessert to enjoy with friends and family during Thanksgiving gatherings,” says Stan Frankenthaler, executive chef and vice president of product innovation at Dunkin’ Brands. “We hope our guests also love our other seasonal menu items, including our new Mini Turkey ice cream treats and Gingerbread Junction ice cream flavor, as well as our classic ice cream Turtle Pie.”
Guests can also enjoy Gingerbread Junction as a milkshake or in Baskin-Robbins ice cream Whoopie Pie, sandwiched in between two moist pieces of chocolate cake. Whoopie Pie cake pieces are also available for purchase as a take-home item along with a pint or quart of any Baskin-Robbins ice cream flavor for guests to build their own Whoopie Pies at home with friends and family. Baskin-Robbins Whoopie Pies are customizable, made to order, and available for a limited time only while supplies last.
Baskin-Robbins is also continuing its Buy One, Get One Free Two-Scoop Sundae offer.
Every Wednesday through the end of the year, guests who purchase a “Build Your Own” Two-Scoop Sundae will receive another Two-Scoop Sundae of equal or lesser value for free. Baskin-Robbins’ classic Two-Scoop Sundae includes two scoops of ice cream topped with caramel, hot fudge, or strawberry topping and is finished with a dollop of whipped cream, nuts, and a cherry. Baskin-Robbins locations in the New York metro area will feature the Buy One Get One Free Sundae offer every Tuesday instead, and locations in Washington, Oregon, Montana, and most in Idaho will not be participating.
