Larkburger, the fast-casual burger restaurant group headquartered in Arvada, Colorado, announced Jim Lyon as director of operations, the most recent addition to its executive leadership team.

“With his experience in the fast-casual industry and history of developing brands, Jim brings valuable management qualities to Larkburger,” says president Adam Baker. “As Larkburger continues to grow, it is crucial we carefully manage operations and resources, and Jim is the best in his field—not to mention a great fit with our corporate culture.”

Lyon will oversee operations of Larkburger’s 12 locations, ensuring that day-to-day activities run smoothly at each. He will hire area managers, be involved in leadership and development, promote innovative Larkburger initiatives, and more.

“After working with many long-established restaurant brands, I was excited to join the Larkburger team,” Lyon says. “It’s apparent Larkburger is on the precipice of long-term growth, and I look forward to working with the company to help keep the momentum going while ensuring all restaurants are providing exemplary customer experiences.”

With two decades in executive restaurant management, Lyon brings experience in trade area development, recruiting, and budget management, and boasts a history of low management turnover.

His resume includes leadership positions at Pizza Hut, Papa John’s Pizza, Panera Bread, Chipotle, and most recently Dunkin Donuts, where he managed operations for 45 restaurants.
