Jack in the Box Goes Retro

    Industry News | September 28, 2009
Jack in the Box announced that for a limited time it is bringing back its Bonus Jack, a double-patty cheeseburger introduced in 1970, and is offering a Bonus Jack Combo Meal, featuring the cheeseburger along with a small order of fries and small drink, for the suggested price of $3.99, plus tax, at participating restaurants. The Bonus Jack features two beef patties topped with two slices of American cheese, lettuce, pickle, and secret sauce served in a triple-decker bun.

“This is a big burger and hearty meal at a very retro price,” says Tammy Bailey, division vice president of menu marketing and promotions for Jack in the Box Inc. “Our guests today can now experience a popular blast from Jack’s past and a value-priced combo meal that is particularly appealing to those on a tight budget.”
