Jake’s Wayback Burgers, with 27 locations throughout the mid-Atlantic and 13 under construction, announced its new Icelandic cod fish filet, the W.B. Cod Sandwich. This marks the first seafood product for the chain. The W.B. Cod Sandwich will be available in all locations on April 1 and will be featured as the April “Burger of the Month,” along with the Orange Creamsicle “Milkshake of the Month” from April 4 to April 30.

The W.B. Cod Sandwich is a beer-battered, Icelandic flaky cod filet topped with house-made tartar sauce and green leaf lettuce and is $5.49 (price varies depending upon location). The Orange Creamsicle Milkshake, $3.99 (price varies depending upon location), is inspired by the classic ice-cream treat and combines the zest of orange and the rich, smooth flavor of vanilla.

“We are extremely excited about the W.B. Cod Sandwich and having it available for our customers and those who practice Lent,” says John Eucalitto, president of Jake’s Franchising LLC. “The W.B. Cod Sandwich and Orange Creamsicle shake are a perfect addition to Jake’s Wayback Burgers menu.”

Additionally, Jake’s Wayback Burgers will open its 27th location in Orange, Connecticut, on March 31 at 185 Boston Post Rd and its 28th location in Brooklyn, New York, within weeks.
