Jamba Juice Las Vegas, known for its range of healthy and nutritious smoothies and menu items, is taking its nutrition and health commitment one step further.
To reinforce the many benefits of physical activity and improve the overall health of those in the Las Vegas Valley, Jamba Juice Las Vegas is helping to support the Southern Nevada Moves Miles campaign.
The goal is to get Southern Nevadans to collectively move 100,000 miles by March 23, 2014 and spur an ongoing interest and awareness of lifetime health habits. Every activity counts whether it's running, swimming, gardening, kayaking, biking, golfing, walking your dog, or walking your children to school.
With the assistance of a free pedometer, available at many Jamba Juice Las Vegas locations, participants can keep track of their activities and easily convert them into miles. For example, 2,000 steps = 1 mile. After each activity, participants convert the information from their pedometer and enter it online.
Along with the benefits of increased physical activity, citizens who take part will automatically be entered into weekly random drawings offering Jamba Juice Las Vegas gift cards.

Online, participants can find a number of health and exercise tips as well as smart and creative recipes to jump start the new year in a healthy way.
In addition, Beasley Broadcasting’s Las Vegas stations including KKLZ 96.3, The Coyote 102.7, 105.7 The Oasis, 107.9 Bob FM, and KDWN AM 720 will remind listeners to get involved and keep logging their activity information.
