Jamba Juice announced this morning the national rollout of its new Steel Cut Oatmeal with Fruit menu item. Made from scratch with 100 percent organic steel cut oats, Jamba’s oatmeal comes with a choice of three real fruit toppings — blueberry-blackberry, apple cinnamon, or fresh bananas — and is topped with brown sugar crumbles.
Today’s launch follows strong sales during last month’s oatmeal preview at Chicago-area Jamba Juice stores and is highlighted by a cross country oatmeal run to deliver breakfast to nonprofits in New York, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Seattle, Denver, and Salt Lake City.
“There is a clear hunger for this type of wholesome, slow-cooked food, as demonstrated by the demand we’ve seen in Chicago,” says James D. White, newly appointed CEO at Jamba Juice. “Today’s launch adds a strong, new dimension to our overall business.”
Jamba Juice also is teaming up with “knitfiti” artists to coincide with the launch. “Knitfiti” is an underground movement in which artists hit public property with handmade knitwear rather than markers and spray paint. An installation will be completed at the Time Warner Center in New York City by a team of local knitters.
