Focus Brands announced that Bruce Schroder has been named president of Moe’s Southwest Grill, the fast-casual restaurant chain best known for creating delicious burritos to order with fresh, flavorful ingredients.

Since taking on the new role of president, with responsibility for Focus Brands restaurant brands, Paul Damico has been leading the 15-year-old brand while searching for a leader with both the right experience and the right fit for the brand’s irreverent culture.

“Bruce is an accomplished executive who has a strong track record for leading high-performance teams and growing highly differentiated brands,” Damico says. “He will draw on his extensive experience in the restaurant franchise business to continue to build on the momentum at Moe’s and lead us to even greater heights ahead.”

Bruce joins Moe’s from Regus, where he most recently commercialized a new retail concept designed to better serve mobile workers. Prior to that he served as COO and president of stores for Jamba Juice, where he led the revitalization of the domestic business and supply chain capabilities. Bruce has been a champion for growth throughout his career; driving innovation and building loyalty for great brands like Pepsi, Taco Bell, Starbucks, and SoBe during his 16 years at PepsiCo.  He has also been on the forefront of integrated channel marketing at Aimco, HomeGain, Peet’s Coffee & Tea, and Wells Fargo.
