Jamba Inc., the health and wellness brand and retailer of juice and smoothies, announced the launch of a new franchise recruiting campaign focused on single-store development in existing and new domestic markets. Jamba was recently selected one of Forbes Top 10 Best Franchises in America.
The recruitment effort will be communicated through an aggressive marketing campaign that will leverage print and online media, PR, and a multiple-market road show aimed at attracting potential local franchise owners. Jamba is also offering attractive incentives for new partners who agree to meet specific development criteria. Incentives include a 50 percent reduction in initial franchise fees, and a three-year graduated royalty reduction plan, all in celebration of the 25th anniversary of the first Jamba store opening.
Jamba Juice currently has 854 stores globally, 551 of which are franchise owned and operated. “We are looking to add 500 new domestic stores over the next 5 years and double our year-over-year store development via the new recruiting program,” says Dale Goss, Jamba SVP of development. “Our multi-city “Whirl’d of Franchise Opportunities” campaign and road show will provide potential future franchisees with the opportunity to meet with our franchise experts and learn more about our popular brand and our incentive.”
“The improving economy and the positive momentum of our ongoing growth initiatives make now the perfect time to consider investing in a Jamba Juice franchise,” says James D. White, chairman, president, and CEO of Jamba Inc., adding that the company’s position as a leading health and wellness brand makes Jamba an ideal brand to meet the needs of today’s increasingly health-conscious consumer. “As consumers continue to move away from the burger and soda fast-casual brands, Jamba continues to be a more relevant option in the fast-casual space.”
Besides offering better-for-you products, Jamba also provides a host of programs aimed at improving and simplifying health for individuals, families, and for the community.
Throughout August and September, Jamba will host franchise-recruiting roadshows in the Baltimore and Washington, D.C. areas, Dallas, Atlanta, Manhattan, Northern New Jersey, and Raleigh and Durham, North Carolina.
