The world’s largest juice and smoothie chain is outfitting all of its 807 locations with Blendtec blenders, the result of a years-long process of collaboration and development. Beginning in March 2016 Jamba Juice will begin to roll out new Blendtec Stealth blenders to all of its locations across the nation.

Tom Dickson, founder and CEO of Blendtec, is enthusiastic about the agreement. “At Blendtec, we’re passionate about two things: good nutrition and innovation. Our alliance with Jamba Juice further enables us to pursue both, and so we’re excited to work with them.”

A year ago, Jamba Juice set out to find a company that could be not just a blender supplier but also an innovative solution provider. They needed someone to work hand-in-hand with to create a blending solution optimized specifically for Jamba Juice franchises and their customers. Blendtec responded by providing not just the hardware Jamba needed, but also the engineers and operations specialists to provide the innovation Jamba wanted.

Randy Stumph, COO for Blendtec, says that the arrangement redefines the supplier-customer relationship. “We’re focused on being agile in providing solutions for Jamba Juice. As their company continues to grow, we’ll be right there to help them address new needs as they arise.”

Blendtec and Jamba’s strategic alliance has already yielded a blending solution that reduces blend times and re-blends, simplifies blender maintenance, reduces blender noise, and delivers overall enhancements to blender use and quality while delivering smooth, complete blends of whole juices and smoothies for Jamba customers.

Brent Linde, senior vice president of global sales for Blendtec, sees continued growth for both brands. “Jamba Juice’s nutritious whole-food recipes are exactly what the market is looking for,” Linde says. “Now that their menu is powered by Blendtec, we expect an increase in customer satisfaction and franchisee business success.”

“Our alliance with Blendtec will greatly improve our operational efficiencies and future innovation,” says Arnaud Joliff, senior vice president, supply chain and operations services, Jamba Juice. “Throughout our evaluation process Blendtec proved to be a highly-capable, solution-oriented company with a strong focus on performance and innovation.”
