Jamba Juice Company is celebrating the new year by unveiling its expanded offerings of smoothies and juices. As part of the company's new focus, Jamba Juice launched the new Whole Food Nutrition smoothies and revealed plans for the expansion of its squeezed-to-order juice offerings, solidifying its commitment to inspire and simplify healthy living.
"As consumers become more aware of the benefits of getting their daily recommended servings of fruits and vegetables, we are determined to support their everyday health and lifestyle needs through our delicious products. With that in mind, we're delighted to announce our new Whole Food Nutrition smoothies as well as our expanded fresh juice offerings," says Julie S. Washington, senior vice president and chief brand officer for Jamba Juice Company. "Made with whole fruit, whole veggies, and other real, whole food ingredients, our new smoothies and juices make it easy to start healthy habits in the new year with truly good, straight-from-the-earth ingredients."
Whole Food Nutrition smoothies are made with ingredients such as kale, carrots, chia seeds, and Greek yogurt. With 10–14 grams of protein, these smoothies provide balanced nutrition and serve as a convenient breakfast, lunch, or snack on-the-go, and are available in three flavors.
Kale-ribbean Breeze is a blend of mangos, kale, passion-mango juice, Greek yogurt, and chia seeds that delivers protein and fiber. PB Chocolate Love is a blend of chocolate, peanut butter, bananas, and two-percent milk. Carrot Orange Fusion is a blend of orange juice, whole carrots, Greek yogurt, soymilk, mangos, bananas, and chia seeds that delivers a full serving of veggies.
Jamba Juice's Whole Food Nutrition smoothies are a complement to its existing Fit 'n Fruitful smoothie platform, as both provide on-the-go nutrition. In anticipation of New Year's health and weight-loss resolutions, Fit 'n Fruitful smoothies provide balanced nutrition with more nutrients, and include Jamba Juice's Lean Advantage Boost to help support weight management goals. The smoothies provide 14 essential vitamins and minerals, and come in two flavors: Strawberry Raspberry Banana and Peach Mango.
The company is also going back to its roots and expanding on its juice offerings. Having started over twenty years ago under the moniker of Juice Club, Jamba is tapping into its heritage of juicing and is incorporating even more fruits and vegetables into its juices.
"While everyone is talking about incorporating more vegetables and fruits into their diets, the USDA is reporting Americans consume only 63 percent of the recommended amount of veggies and 38 percent of the recommended amount of fruit," says nutrition expert, author, and Jamba Healthy Living Council member Elizabeth M. Ward. "Jamba Juice's New Whole Food Nutrition line and fresh juices, squeezed to order, are the perfect solution to filling this very real fruit and veggie void. Each offers multiple servings of whole fruits and veggies and other nutrients like protein, fiber, and healthy fats like omega-3 essential for a healthy diet."
