    Jersey Mike’s Subs

This spring, Jersey Mike’s Subs, known for its fresh sliced/fresh grilled subs, rolled out turkey raised without antibiotics at its more than 1,200 locations across the country.

All subs made with fresh sliced turkey will now use Antibiotic Free Turkey, including one of the sub chain’s top-sellers: #7 Turkey Breast and Provolone.

“Consumers are looking for cleaner labels so converting one of our highest-selling products to Antibiotic Free Turkey made perfect sense,” says Michael Manzo, chief operating officer, Jersey Mike’s. “Since 1954, we have been committed to offering an authentic sub sandwich with top-quality ingredients, and this introduction maintains this tradition.”

The new product, made with the finest turkey breast meat, continues to be 99 percent fat free. It is vegetarian fed, and contains no nitrates, hormones or preservatives.
