Jersey Mike’s Subs, known for its fresh sliced/fresh grilled subs, opened on the campus of Montclair State University at 1 Normal Avenue. The sub shop is run by the school’s foodservice partner, Montclair State Dining through Chartwells Higher Education Dining Services.

“This is the first time Jersey Mike’s is partnering with Chartwells, and we couldn’t be prouder to work with this team that shares our commitment to quality products and a high-energy customer experience,” says Phil Capozzi, Vice President, Non-Traditional, Jersey Mike’s Franchise Systems, Inc.

He adds, “We know students — and their parents — will love having a place on campus to enjoy our fresh meats, cheeses, produce and bread, served Mike’s Way, of course!”

Jersey Mike’s at the Plaza at Blanton Hall joins other dining options including Blanton C-store, Dunkin’ and Chili’s.

Jersey Mike’s will accept the student meal plan in addition to the university discretionary funds, Red Hawk Dollar, Flex Dollars and cash/credit. This Jersey Mike’s will also offer Grub Hub mobile food ordering. Students can preorder and prepay so their order is ready for pickup when they arrive.

“Students have been excited about Jersey Mike’s coming since we announced it,” says Dora Lim, Resident District Manager, Montclair State Dining, Chartwells. “It’s a well-recognized name and everyone can’t wait to get a Jersey Mike’s sub without leaving campus.”
