World Wide Technology, a market-leading global technology solution provider, announced its partnership with Jersey Mike’s Subs, the fastest-growing sandwich chain in the United States, to develop a next-generation digital experience for its customers, franchise owners and employees in 2019.

WWT Managing Director of Digital Josh Hogan presented plans to roll out Jersey Mike’s digital transformation strategy to more than 1,500 employees, franchise owners and store managers at Jersey Mike’s National Conference in Orlando.

“Companies across all industries face the challenges of digital disruption and an increasing need to develop their own digital strategy to remain competitive in today’s tech-driven environment,” says Hogan. “We are delighted to partner with Jersey Mike’s, and harness WWT’s expertise in leading consumer brands in this space, to develop customized solutions and help them achieve key goals in 2019.”

Jersey Mike’s investment in next-generation technology includes mobile, kiosk, point of sale and loyalty enhancements that scales with the company’s pace of growth and continues to deliver best-in-class service and crave-worthy subs. The new technology upgrades will be designed to meet the needs of digital native customers who value being rewarded for store visits and who expect frictionless, faster speed of service as well as anytime-anywhere ordering.

“Despite being a 62-year-old company, Jersey Mike’s continues to be an early adopter when it comes to technology,” says Rich Hope, chief marketing officer, Jersey Mike’s Franchise Systems, Inc. “At Jersey Mike’s, we focus on providing our customers with a fresh, high-quality sub sandwich the way they want it, and we look forward to partnering with WWT, a global technology leader, to enhance our overall digital offerings to provide a seamless Sub Above experience for our customers, franchise owners and employees.”

Jersey Mike’s, known for its fresh sliced/fresh grilled subs, continues to lead the fast-casual restaurant industry, with 18 consecutive quarters of growth. That growth can be attributed to the company’s ability to adapt to changing market conditions.

In the coming months, Jersey Mike’s and WWT will continue to establish forward-thinking digital strategies and develop digitally transformative solutions to help drive growth, with an ultimate objective of opening the 2,000th Jersey Mike’s store by late next year.
