Peter Cancro, president of Jersey Mike’s Franchise Systems, Inc. announces the sub sandwich chain’s most recent openings. The Roswell, Georgia opening marks Jersey Mike’s first location in that city and its ninth in the state of Georgia. In Florida, Palm Springs has welcomed its first Jersey Mike’s. Ohio is no stranger to Jersey Mike’s; the 28th and 29th locations in that state just opened in Harrison and Dayton/Troy.

“More and more people are visiting our stores now that we have a number of locations open,” said Eddie McMullen, one of the Palm Springs franchisees. “We agreed to multi-unit development agreement with the corporate office after witnessing Jersey Mike’s tremendous following in North Carolina. It seemed the northeast, deli-style sandwich was in high demand and Florida only had one store.”

Recent research conducted by Cardinal and Associates, a Dallas-based consulting firm, revealed that 99% of customers who experience a Jersey Mike’s sub plan to return for another. It also indicated that 78% make a special trip to Jersey Mike’s for their favorite sandwich. This is strong support for why Jersey Mike’s wins so many independent reader’s choice.

“The welcome we received when we opened was wonderful,” according to Brandon Waites, a new Ohio franchisee. “We became involved in Jersey Mike’s after tasting sandwiches in Columbus. Troy marks the first of five Jersey Mike’s we will open in the area.”
