Jersey Mike’s Subs, known for its fresh-sliced and fresh-grilled subs, is continuing its partnership with Christie Rampone, the captain of the U.S. Women's National Soccer Team and Jersey Shore native, for an additional three years. Rampone, named the first spokesperson in the company’s nearly 60-year history in 2012, will appear in a multi-tiered, grassroots marketing program involving clinics, new store openings, charity events, social media, and videos. Additionally, she will work with the company on its internal training initiatives.

Known for her extraordinary athleticism, intelligence, and leadership, Rampone is considered to be one of the greatest defenders to ever play the game. Rampone has two daughters and remains one of the team’s fastest and most durable players. Additionally, she is the most-capped active player in the world, man or woman, with honors that include a World Cup Championship and three Olympic Gold Medals. She is also a 2015 New Jersey Hall of Fame nominee.

“Christie is an excellent role model for our brand,” says Peter Cancro, Jersey Mike’s founder and CEO. “She has strong Jersey Shore roots and shares our same values related to leadership, mentoring and giving back. Continuing our partnership with Christie was an easy decision and we look forward to growing our relationship as we approach our 60th year in business.”

Jersey Mike’s hopes to appeal to busy parents, shuttling children from school to sports practices and other activities, who are looking for fast, healthy meal options.
