Jimboy’s Tacos and the Muscular Dystrophy Association are proud to bring Jimboy’s legendary tacos and awareness of the MDA and the “Make a Muscle Campaign” at two exciting events this week in conjunction with the West Coast Franchise Expo.
“The MDA is close to our hearts and has become a part of our Jimboy’s Tacos family. Over the years, we have gotten to visit and benefit from the wonderful relationships these children bring into our lives. The MDA is dedicated to finding treatments and cures for muscular dystrophy and we at Jimboy’s Tacos are proud to play a part in bringing attention and support to the people who live day-today with muscle disease” says Karen Knudson-Freeman, president and CEO of Jimboy’s Tacos.
The Jimboy’s Tacos food truck will travel to two locations in the Greater Los Angeles area and serve a select menu as part of these fundraisers. This is a nonprofit event to introduce our Jimboy’s signature taco with proceeds directly benefiting the MDA and its kids, which is an extension of the “Make a Muscle” campaign.
The first fundraiser will be held on Thursday, October 23, from 5 to 9 p.m., in Anaheim, California, at Noble Ale Works. The second fundraiser will be held on Saturday, October 25, from 5 to 9 p.m., in Fullerton, California, at the Bootlegger Brewery.
“This is the first time Jimboy’s Tacos has ever been in the Greater Los Angeles area, and we have a lot of Jimboy’s Tacos fans in Southern California, so we encourage all of them to come out and help us support this great cause,” Knudson-Freeman says.
