Leading up to Sunday’s game, JJ’s Red Hots isn’t letting the air out of anything; instead, JJ’s has created two new dishes in honor of Seattle and New England.
Beginning today at its two restaurants in Charlotte, North Carolina, JJ’s will serve the following two new creations as its Hot Dogs of the Week, both priced at $3.99:
· The Brady Deflatey– boston-style baked beans, bacon, onions, and brown mustard, served in a copy of the league’s rule book.
· The Beast Mode Mother Lode– whipped cream cheese, sautéed peppers, Sriracha, and sesame seeds, served with a fun-size pack of Skittles.
“There’s been so much talk about balls this week that the jokes just kinda write themselves,” says JJ’s founder Jonathan Luther. “We felt like it would be irresponsible to not participate.”
JJ’s is including the Hot Dogs as part of it now-famous Dog of the Week program, which features specially designed and priced Hot Dogs, beginning each Monday. The promotion has been covered widely by the brand’s hometown Charlotte media and was even the subject of a USA Today article.
The Brady Deflatey and The Beast Mode Mother Lode are available this week through 4 p.m. Sunday, when the restaurant closes so its employees can go watch the game.
