Joella’s Hot Chicken Friday announced it is moving to a limited menu and updating daily hours of operation, as well as adding customer discounts in response to restrictions during the COVID-19 pandemic. The fast-casual restaurant is now serving a limited menu with a 20 percent discount on all items and a $5.99 meal special for carryout, delivery and drive thru (where available) only. These changes take effect today in all 16 locations throughout the Southeast and Midwest. Joella’s is also changing its daily hours for the Cincinnati-metro area to 11 a.m. – 7 p.m. EDT. All other locations will be open from 11 a.m. – 8 p.m. EDT.
Joella’s limited menu features guest favorites like Jumbo Tenders that come fried or grilled, Kale Crunch Salad, Chicken & Waffles, and the Classic Big Sammie. The limited offerings allow the restaurant to better prioritize inventory and provide better service to guests during the COVID-19 outbreak. Vegan Chicken and Joella’s Southern-inspired sides like Creamy Mac & Cheese and Parm Garlic Fries are also available.

Like our motto, “Honey, always do the right thing,” it’s our duty as fellow citizens to support and help the community however we can during this pandemic.”
Earlier this week, Joella’s announced two weeks of free DoorDash delivery until March 31 and began providing FREE kids meals with no purchase necessary for children 10 and under from 11 a.m. – 5 p.m. EDT on weekdays. Joella’s fans can show their support and also save by purchasing specially priced gift cards: $25 card for $20 or a $50 card for $40.
Joella’s has closed dining rooms in Ohio, Kentucky and Indiana and transitioned those stores to carryout, delivery and drive thru (where available) only. These precautions were in response to government orders to reduce the spread of COVID-19. As other states approve proactive responses to COVID-19, Joella’s will update employees, partners and the public regarding hours and availability.
