Beefsteak will open its first Maryland location in early summer 2016. Scheduled to open at Westfield Montgomery Mall, Beefsteak’s customizable veggie-forward menu will be a fresh new offering to the Westfield Montgomery shoppers, students, and staff from neighboring Walter Johnson High School and the greater Bethesda community. The vegetable-centric concept will be the newest chef-driven fast casual restaurant in the shopping center. Beefsteak currently has two locations in the Dupont and Foggy Bottom neighborhoods of Washington, D.C. In addition to the Westfield Montgomery Mall opening, Beefsteak is slated to open in an additional location in Washington, D.C., in Tenleytown, followed by Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, in spring 2016.

Beefsteak, created by chef José Andrés and his culinary team and led by Beefsteak executive chef Pat Peterson, is the first fast-casual concept where farm-fresh, market-driven vegetables take center stage to create hearty, vegetable-centric meals packed with flavor and nutrition. To fuel busy lifestyles and the growing desire to eat well, the affordable and accessible concept delivers good food, fast.
