Juice It Up!, the largest raw juice bar chain and smoothie franchise, closed out a second consecutive year of same-store sales growth and announced the expansion of 8 new store locations.

The company, with headquarters in Irvine, California, revitalized its brand and product offering in early 2012 to reach the trending and continuously growing raw juice market. The switch to healthy lifestyle options connected with consumers and both store sales and brand popularity began to climb. Juice It Up! year-over-year sales are up 38 percent over the past 21 months and continue to rise, surpassing same-store sales for some of the company’s largest competitors, namely Jamba Juice and Robeks.

“Our customers have continued to look for ways to maintain a healthy lifestyle and our franchisee’s have been able to deliver that demand,” says Marcus Skinner, business development manager for the brand. “We are leading the raw juice movement in the marketplace, and the results we are seeing in our same store sales speak directly to our impact on the marketplace. The numbers speak for themselves.”

The growth of the Juice It Up! concept has positioned the company to begin the expansion of their franchise network. Carol Skinner, senior director of marketing and business development, recently announced the planned opening of eight new locations (three opening by the end of 2013) and continuing expansion into the Los Angeles, Palm Springs, and Riverside, California, markets, as well as expansion into New Mexico.

“We are growing in both the minds of consumers and within the marketplace,” says Skinner. “Our consistent success over the past two years has allowed us to expand our network, develop delicious new products for our customers, and create a franchise concept that offers opportunity and growth for our franchisees. We’re firing on all cylinders now and have big plans for 2014.”

Juice It Up! will be showcased at the West Coast Franchise Expo in Anaheim, California from October 24 to 26.
