Juice It Up! Opens Two New Mexico Locations

  • Industry News June 24, 2015

Juice It Up!, one of the nation’s leading raw juice bar and hand-crafted smoothie chains, has announced that franchise group It Takes Two LLC has entered an agreement to open two additional units in New Mexico. The group is led by Kelly and Shawn Wolf, who operate the Juice It Up! Albuquerque location. The first unit is scheduled to open in the Eastside Albuquerque area later this year and will feature Juice It Up!’s new “Bowl Bar” where fresh ingredients are on display and guests can see their Superfruit Açaí and Pitaya Bowls, along with Fusion and Smoothie Bowls created right in front of them.

“We have been extremely happy with our decision to partner with Juice It Up! as we ventured into the growing raw juice and smoothie segment,” says Kelly Wolf. “Our Albuquerque location has performed very well and we’re excited to expose more New Mexico residents to the unique Juice It Up! experience while also supporting their active and healthy lifestyles.”

This year, Juice It Up! celebrates its 20th anniversary and, with more than 80 locations in five states, is on track to open at least 20 new locations by the end of 2015. The brand’s consecutive, month-over-month net sales growth has resulted in more than 50 percent sales increases over the past 25 months. With a heightened focus on product innovation and elevating the guest experience, Juice It Up! has seen an increased demand for exclusive territories with existing franchisees, and continues to attract highly-qualified new franchise operators.

“We’re thrilled to expand upon our partnership with passionate franchisees like Kelly and Shawn while continuing our growth in untapped markets like New Mexico,” says Carol DeNembo, vice president of marketing and business development for Juice It Up! “Our smoothie and bowl business continues to be strong and we’ve consistently seen exponential increases on the raw juice side, further validating our marketing shift to focus equally on our three core categories.”
