Just Salad and S’well, two NYC-based brands committed to reducing plastic waste, have joined forces to launch a limited-edition Sustainability Kit. The Sustainability Kit ($39), available exclusively at justsalad.com/sustainabilitykit, features Just Salad’s reusable VIP Black Bowl and Swell’s London Chimney 9oz reusable bottle, all packaged in an eco-friendly “It’s Easy Being Green” reusable tote.
Just Salad is the home of the World’s Largest Restaurant Reusable program. Their coveted VIP Black Bowl included in the Sustainability Kit offers a host of perks, including line-skipping privileges and a free protein topping with every use through the end of the 2019.
The Sustainability Kit is both a celebration of Earth Month and a launchpad for Just Salad’s new sustainability initiative, Green Standard by Just Salad. Spearheaded by Just Salad’s newly appointed Chief Sustainability Officer Janani Lee, the Green Standard initiative will further the brand’s commitment to being the “green” standard of sustainability in the restaurant space and beyond through:
“These days, it’s so important for brands to go all in on sustainability,” says Janani Lee, Just Salad’s newly appointed Chief Sustainability Officer. “Just Salad’s Sustainability Kit and our larger Green Standard initiative reflect not only our commitment to sustainability but to making the concept of sustainability more accessible to guests than ever before.”
Just Salad’s innovative reusable bowl program was recognized by the EPA with a WasteWise award, and it is the only restaurant reusable program approved by the New York City Department of Health. The signature blue reusable bowls are available at all Just Salad locations for $1.
