Just Salad is now welcoming domestic franchise opportunities with multi-unit franchise operators.

With 38 locations in New York, New Jersey, Philadelphia, Chicago, Florida, and Dubai, Just Salad has set its sights on new market expansion in partnership with domestic operators.

“The Just Salad brand is especially well-suited as a national franchise option, and the business model also happens to be one of the most attractive in the restaurant industry,” says Paul Rittenberg, Chief Development Officer at Just Salad. “After 12 years of doing business, the Just Salad concept, brand, and team are primed for franchise operators to introduce us to new consumers around the country.”

The first multi-unit franchise partner to sign on with Just Salad is Cattell Street Brands, which will open at least five Just Salad locations in North Carolina by the end of 2020 with the first location opening this summer in Raleigh. The Raleigh-based independent restaurant operations company is led by Founder Peter Kim and Co-Founder Jane Kim.

Just Salad’s first North Carolina location will open this spring at The Marketplace at Lake Boone in Raleigh. The restaurant will feature mobile ordering, dedicated 10-minute parking spaces, customized catering, and delivery.

“We chose to partner with Just Salad because they’re making all of the right investments in technology, supply chain management, and sustainability to deliver delicious and healthy food in a fast, affordable, and convenient way that everyone can feel good about,” says Peter Kim, Founder and CEO of Cattell Street Brands.

“This is a big moment for Just Salad, and we’re excited to make healthy food even more accessible,” says Nick Kenner, Founder and CEO of Just Salad. “Until now, few quality fast casual concepts have opened up to franchising, and we’re finally ready to fill that void in the marketplace. We look forward to announcing partnerships with other top-tier multi-unit franchise operators in the coming months.”
