Just Salad, the eco-friendly salad brand with 27 locations in New York, Chicago, Hong Kong, and Dubai, will open four new stores in Chicago in 2016. The newest store will open April 1 at 120 W. Adams Street, located in The Loop in downtown Chicago.

“Chicago is our second home,” says Just Salad CEO and cofounder Nick Kenner. “We’re opening four new stores in Chicago this year, hopefully even more in 2017.”

Last March, Just Salad opened their first Chicago location at 20 E. Jackson Blvd.

“Since Day 1, we’ve met thousands of Chicagoans who were seeking healthy, affordable lunch options, and we’re proud they’ve made Just Salad part of their lives,” Kenner adds.

Just Salad will open its third location at 10 South Riverside this summer, with a fourth and fifth location to open by the end of the year.

“With these new locations, we’re able to form bigger partnerships with local vendors, which is a priority for us,” Kenner says. Some of Just Salad’s partners include Gotham Greens, Farmed Here, Ren Hen Bakery, and Greens and Gills in Chicago.

Just Salad has taken the lead in environmental responsibility, headlined by their signature reusable bowl program, which saves nearly 75,000 pounds of plastic every year in the United States. Just Salad has already distributed over 5,000 reusable bowls in Chicago and plans to distribute thousands more this year.

Founded in 2006, the New York City based brand offers a lineup of quality proteins like free-range grass-fed beef, antibiotic-free, humanely raised chicken, sustainable seafood, and organic tofu, while offering a rotating cast of tasty local, in-season ingredients. The “JS Promise,” the brand’s all-encompassing philosophy, is to provide quality, healthy food in a fast, responsible, yet affordable way.
