Beginning January 18, Chef John Tesar will offer Ozersky Hamburgers for only $1 to federal government employees throughout the government shutdown. To accommodate government employees on both sides of the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex, Tesar has selected two Knife Burger locations for federal government employees to redeem this special at. Available at Knife Burger at The Shops at Willow Bend and Knife Burger at Food Hall at Crockett Row, this offer can be redeemed by anyone who presents an official form of federal government employee identification at the cash register.
The nationally acclaimed burger, named after Josh Ozersky, the late food writer and longtime friend to Tesar, is classic cheeseburger famous for its four straightforward components: a pure 44 Farms 5 oz. beef patty, thinly sliced red onions, a slice of American cheese, and a squishy white bun.
Knife Burger has solidified its reputation as an ingredient-forward concept, recognized for serving superior burgers with an emphasis on simplicity to allow the quality of the meat and ingredients shine through. Tesar continues to nurture his relationship with 44 Farms to ensure the best meats are sourced for guest’s daily.
