Kolache Factory Closes Dining Rooms in Texas

    Industry News | March 17, 2020

Effective immediately, dining rooms at Kolache Factory restaurants in Texas will be closed. For the safety of employees and customers, Kolache Factory stores will move to carry-out, delivery, or drive-thru service only.

Kolache Factory remains open for business but customers are encouraged to preorder by calling ahead or ordering online at kolachefactorytogo.com.

In order to serve customers in the safest way possible, the following measures are in effect:

    • Dining rooms closed
    • Self-serve beverage stations closed to customers; employees will serve everything at the counter
    • Bathrooms for employee use only

Kolache Factory store locations outside of Texas will comply with specific state-mandated regulations. In Texas, Kolache Factory’s goal is to make the front door the one and only touchpoint, which will be cleaned frequently.

“Kolache Factory is taking the preemptive step of shutting down dining rooms at all locations so we can protect our customers and employees as much as possible, encourage social distance, yet still serve our communities fresh made kolaches,” says Dawn Nielsen, Kolache Factory COO.  “We understand this is an unsettling time, but we are committed to doing our part to protect one another and our economy to the best of our ability; together we will get through it. We appreciate your patience and understanding during this challenging time.”
