Effective immediately, dining rooms and restrooms at all corporate-owned Kolache Factory restaurants will be closed. For the safety of employees and customers, Kolache Factory stores will move back to carry-out, curbside, or drive thru service only.

Kolache Factory remains open for business but customers are encouraged to preorder by calling ahead or ordering online at kolachefactorytogo.com.

In addition to our COVID-19 protection efforts, the following additional measures are in effect immediately :

  • Dining rooms closed
  • Self-serve beverage stations closed to customers; employees will serve everything at the counter
  • Bathrooms for employee use only, except for first responders

This move affects 26 corporate-owned Kolache Factory store locations in Texas, Kansas, and Indiana. Franchise locations will decide dining room status based on community mandated regulations and personal choice. Texas, and Houston in particular, is experiencing a dramatic surge in COVID-19 cases, which is what prompted the Texas-based chain to take a step back.

“With the surge we are seeing right now in our country, we are taking the preemptive step of shutting down dining rooms at all corporate-owned locations, so we can protect our customers and employees as much as possible, encourage social distance, and continue serving our communities fresh made kolaches,” says Dawn Nielsen, Kolache Factory COO  “We understand this is a scary time, but we are committed to doing our part to protect one another and our economy. We appreciate your patience and understanding and hope you will continue to place online orders.”
