Krispy Kreme announced that through February 14, the chain is offering its heart and chocolate doughnuts assortment.
These offerings include the Triple Chocolate doughnut, which has a chocolate cream filling and is topped with chocolate icing and brownie crumbles; the Chocolate-Iced ring, with Valentine’s Day sprinkles; the Chocolate-Iced Heart doughnut, with a red drizzle; and the heart doughnut, which is topped with white icing and decorated with red, white, and pink sprinkles.
This year, participating U.S. Krispy Kreme locations will again offer “Hot Hearts,” which are Heart-shaped “Hot Now” Original Glazed doughnuts, on Valentine’s Day.
To make the season of love even more memorable, Krispy Kreme is giving customers 12 free “Share the Love” Valentine’s Day cards with each dozen doughnuts purchased. Each of these cards includes a coupon for one free doughnut.
“Make your sweetheart fall head over heels for you with Krispy Kreme’s Valentine’s Day assortment, including our increasingly popular Heart doughnuts,” says Ron Rupocinski, corporate chef at Krispy Kreme. “Last year, Krispy Kreme’s company stores sold more than 400,000 Heart doughnuts during Valentine’s week alone. So whether they’re a chocoholic or a specialty Heart doughnut enthusiast, this is one gift that’s only made sweeter with free Valentine’s Day cards.”
The Valentine’s Day assortment is available now and will remain in participating U.S. Krispy Kreme retail stores through February 14. Product offerings will vary by markets. Large orders can be placed at no additional cost by calling your local Krispy Kreme store at least 48 hours in advance.
