Krispy Kreme is bringing you two new, egg-shaped treats to celebrate the Blu-ray and DVD release of Universal Pictures’ Easter-themed family comedy HOP, from the creators of Despicable Me.
The new Sprinkled Chocolate Iced Egg with Kreme Filling and Drizzled Iced Egg with Chocolate Kreme Filling Doughnuts are available now through April 8 at participating Krispy Kreme U.S. and Canada locations.
“We’ve captured the delightfulness of this hilarious hit family comedy in two great-tasting, egg-shaped treats,” explains Ron Rupocinski, Krispy Kreme corporate chef. “They’re a fun and colorful way for your family to celebrate the arrival of spring and the Blu-ray and DVD release of HOP.”
The Hunt Is Over! Fill your baskets with these two new tasty treats at participating Krispy Kreme shops and participating Walmart locations:
- Sprinkled Chocolate Iced Egg with Kreme Filling:A chocolate iced, egg-shaped doughnut featuring spring-themed sprinkles and Kreme filling.
- Drizzled Iced Egg with Chocolate Kreme Filling: An egg-shaped doughnut topped with orange icing and drizzled with blue and green icing.

Krispy Kreme Sprinkled Chocolate Iced Egg with Kreme Filling Doughnuts are also available in assorted six-count boxes on Krispy Kreme displays at participating WalMart locations, March 23 through April 8.
Look for HOP on Blu-ray and DVD on March 23, 2012, at participating retailers. HOP Blu-ray and DVDs are not available for purchase at Krispy Kreme locations.
